Happy Birthday CKA!

Creative Kernow Associates, our artist support programme, is one year old today!

Born out of the legacy of our hugely successful EU-funded Cultivator programme, CKA was created to keep supporting the people working in creativity and culture across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Over the past year, CKA members have exhibited work in Manchester, Devon, and London; taken part in residencies both here in Cornwall and in Scotland; tried their hand at a huge range of activities at mixer events, while getting to know other local artists; developed new skills and projects through mentoring and R&D support; and expanded their practices through specialist skills development courses.

The CKA team extend their thanks to everyone who has joined and helped this year – the support, enthusiasm and encouragement from Cornwall’s creative community has been invaluable.
