Arts Lab Celebrates 4 Years of Success

Our creative wellbeing programme, Arts Lab is delivered in partnership with HeadStart Kernow and Arts Well, for young people across Cornwall.

Started in 2022, we have commissioned artists to work with young people’s groups all over Cornwall to co-create opportunities in response to what the young people said they want. We are grateful to Public Health Cornwall for their funding and support over the last three years.

As Arts Lab’s first funded period comes to an end, we celebrate the successes with everyone who has been involved. In 2025 the Resettlement Service commissioned Arts Lab to deliver projects supporting young refugees and their peers to connect through creativity. External artists were brought into 10 settings to co-produce creative workshops with over 120 young people. Projects aimed to inspire young people to better understand each other, their own identities and the world around them.
